Stand Up To The Challenge
We are often faced with challenges that require us to make difficult decisions. It's easy to want to avoid such challenges and take the easy way out, but this is not always the best approach. Jesus knew he was going to be betrayed, yet he went to the Mount of Olives, his place of secret prayer, as usual. He faced the challenge head-on, even though he knew it would be more difficult than we can imagine.
Similarly, we should face our challenges rather than run away from them. In fact, James 1:2-4 encourages us to consider it all joy when we encounter various trials because the testing of our faith produces endurance. Letting endurance have its perfect result makes us perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
