Overcoming the Lies of the Enemy
Let’s join Jesus as he was led by the Holy Spirit to the Judean wilderness where he was tempted by the devil for forty days.
There the enemy tried to tempt Jesus, make him doubt what God the Father said, and convince him to do things that went against his Father’s kingdom-plan.
But Jesus resisted and countered these temptations with the word of God and showed us the importance of recognising our identity in God and relying on God's declaration of who we are, rather than establishing our lives on other things.
